English teenagers are to receive compulsory cooking lessons in schools. The idea is to encourage healthy eating to combat the country’s spiralling obesity rate. It’s feared that basic cooking and food preparation skills are being lost as parents turn to pre-prepared convenience foods. Jon Devitt reports
- My reflections on this article:
Of course boys should learn cooking!
If they don’t know how to cook for themselves, they have to eat out when the woman isn’t home. It’s obviously that cooking at home is much cleaner and nutritious.
And if they take cooking classes, they would learn how to make a meal or maybe chocolate and cakes, so that they can one day give what they made for their loved ones, which will surely make girls feel sweet.
Cooking is a life skill, so I think everyone should learn cooking!
You made a good point and you had it fully developed. Good job! Change “woman” to “the woman” and in “…so that they can one day sent for …” , change “sent for…” to “give/send what they make to their loved ones, which…” (You need a comma before the relative clause.
