The book, High Life Low Life, which is written by Alan Battersby is our winter vacation’s homework.
The story is about Nat Marley, a private investigator, experience the strange story of two old ladies from the opposite ends of New York society-the high life and the low life.
We have to finished reading it and prepare for the test on the school opens!

Summary(Ch.4)
I(Nat Marley) wanted to get some information about the Whittakers, so I went to Mcfadden’s Bar to meet Ed Winchester, an old of mine, and also a former crime reporter at the Daily News.
The next day, Annie asked me to go with Leona, who will show me something I’ve never seen. Leona took me to an old building which looked empty, the door opened as soon as she knocked, and a big man welcomed her but gave me a cold stare. leona explained and took me down some steps below the streets.
Leona gave me a metal box and took me back up to the street.
Back at the hospital, Annie unlocked the box and showed me the photograph of a cheerful teenager boy. She told me story about the boy and asked me to find him back.((還沒打完= =”))
